Banaganapalle : Addressing a spirited crowd as part of the Praja Galam election campaign, TDP national president and former chief minister, Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu, pledged to prioritize the development of Rayalaseema, vowing to surpass the progress of Konaseema.

Accusing Chief Minister Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy of betraying Rayalaseema, Chandrababu promised significant development within 45 days of forming the NDA government. He criticized Mr Jagan for alleged neglect and damage to villages and towns across the region.

Clarifying the TDP’s alliance with Jana Sena and BJP as solely for the state’s future, Chandrababu assured minority communities against injustice. He highlighted the party’s commitment to asset creation and distribution, particularly among the poor, promising initiatives like supplying Godavari waters to Rayalaseema.

Chandrababu criticized Mr Jagan’s governance, alleging damage to the state through controversial policies like three capitals. He accused Mr Jagan of familial intrigue and labeled his governance as “poisonous” compared to TDP’s vision.

Reiterating TDP’s historical significance on its founding day, Chandrababu expressed confidence in public support, citing alliances with Jana Sena and Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi. He reminisced about past welfare schemes and vowed to continue in the same vein, urging voters to unite against the incumbent YSRCP government.

Highlighting the state’s mounting debt and alleged false cases, Chandrababu urged voters to prevent vote division and expressed optimism in NDA’s victory both at the state and national levels. He concluded by calling for unity across caste and religious lines to remove what he termed a “psychotic” regime.
