P Gannavaram:  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy delivered a stern message to voters during a campaign meeting near Kothur Junction in Chodavaram, Anakapalli district, warning against voting for Chandrababu Naidu and emphasizing the risks of discontinued welfare schemes. The Chief Minister also addressed public gatherings in P Gannavaram and Ponnur on the same day.

Highlighting Chandrababu Naidu’s role in diverting Hyderabad’s capital status due to the cash-for-vote case, Chief Minister Jagan labeled the situation as “Govinda… Govindaa.” He criticized Naidu’s failure to secure special category status and cautioned voters against believing in his promises, equating it to peril.

Jagan urged voters to reject the opposition, emphasizing the anti-poor stance of Chandrababu’s party. He underscored the disappointment of unfulfilled TDP promises from 2014, including unemployment benefits, farm loan waivers, and DWCRA loan waivers. The Chief Minister also pointed out failed schemes such as the Mahalakshmi scheme and Chandrababu’s capital relocation proposal, contrasting it with the promise of Visakhapatnam’s prosperity.

As the election rhetoric intensifies, Chief Minister Jagan Reddy’s critique aims to sway voters by highlighting Chandrababu’s alleged failures and unkept promises, signaling a charged political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh.
