
Penugonda: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Penugonda in West Godavari district for an auspicious occasion, where he was warmly welcomed by Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu, local MLAs, and senior leaders at the helipad in the market yard. After reaching the Vasavi Kanyakaparameshwari Temple, the CM was received by temple officials, priests, and staff. Chandrababu then offered silk clothes to the goddess and performed a special pooja as part of the temple rituals.
During his visit, the CM also paid respects at the 90-feet Panchaloha idol of Goddess Vasavi located nearby. Speaking to the gathered crowd, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit Penugonda, a place of rich spiritual history. He highlighted that it was a significant moment to offer silk clothes on behalf of the government for the first time.
Chandrababu commended the Arya Vaishya community for their hard work and contributions, noting their dedication to public service. He emphasized the community’s role in Bangalore’s development, and assured that the government would continue supporting their growth, especially through the establishment of the Arya Vaishya Corporation.
Penugonda, he mentioned, would continue to thrive as a holy place for the Arya Vaishyas, with the state government making significant efforts for their prosperity.
