Nizamabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has accused Union Minister Bandi Sanjay of shielding key figures involved in the phone tapping case. Speaking at election campaign meetings in Nizamabad, Mancherial, and Karimnagar, he alleged that BJP leaders were protecting Prabhakar Rao and Shravan Rao, the alleged masterminds behind the case. He questioned why the BJP was criticizing the state government for not arresting former CM KCR and KTR while failing to bring back the accused hiding abroad. Revanth Reddy asserted that if these individuals were in America, they could be arrested and extradited within 24 hours.
He also alleged that the BJP had struck secret deals in Delhi to avoid investigations into phone tapping, Formula E car race scams, and sheep distribution irregularities. He challenged the BJP to explain why the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had not arrested KTR despite seizing crucial documents related to the cases.
Revanth Reddy further accused Union Minister Kishan Reddy of blocking key infrastructure projects, including metro expansion and the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme. He highlighted his government’s efforts in debt waivers, ITI upgradations, and welfare programs, aiming to rebuild Telangana’s economy.
