Narayanpet: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized previous administrations for neglecting Palamuru district, stating that successive governments failed to complete crucial irrigation and development projects. The CM made these remarks while laying the foundation stone for Indiramma houses in Narayanpet.
Revanth Reddy emphasized that for ten years, poor families in rural areas were deprived of government housing, but his government has now sanctioned 3,500 Indiramma houses per constituency. He questioned former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for failing to complete the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy, Bhima, Nettempadu, Koilsagar, Sangambandam, and Kalwakurthy projects. He further alleged that despite Krishna water being diverted to Rayalaseema, KCR remained silent.
The CM challenged KCR, BJP state chief Kishan Reddy, and Union Minister Kishan Reddy to a debate on governance, stating that those who failed to deliver in 10-12 years should not question Congress’s achievements in one year.
Assuring justice to displaced families, Revanth Reddy urged the public not to fall for misinformation about land acquisition, promising fair compensation for affected individuals.
