Paravada: The death toll from the accident at Synergin Industry in Paravada, Anakapalli district, has increased to three. Suryanarayana, a chemist from Vizianagaram district, succumbed to his injuries early Monday while undergoing treatment at Indus Hospital in Visakhapatnam. His body has been shifted to the KGH mortuary.
The tragic incident occurred on the 22nd of this month at the Synergin Industry’s Active Ingredients Unit-3 in Paravada, where four workers sustained severe injuries. Lalsingh Puri from Jharkhand was the first to succumb to his injuries on the 23rd, followed by Roya Angiria on the 24th. Another worker, Oyabom Korha, also from Jharkhand, remains hospitalized and is currently undergoing treatment.
The incident has raised concerns about industrial safety in the region, as the community mourns the loss of the workers involved.
