Ravulapalem: Former MLA Chirla Jaggireddy has strongly criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his visit to Vanapalli, accusing him of focusing solely on targeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy rather than addressing the needs of the local villagers.
Speaking to the media in Ravulapalem on Saturday, Jaggireddy urged Naidu to stop personal attacks and prioritize fulfilling promises made to the public. He condemned the Chief Minister for reusing outdated concepts like “Grama Sabhas” and misleading people with empty promises.
Jaggireddy expressed disappointment over the lack of meaningful announcements during Naidu’s Grama Sabha, which left the local residents dissatisfied. He accused Naidu of deceiving the public and defended YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership, highlighting various initiatives such as the Amma Vodi program, Rythu Bharosa, and Aasara schemes that benefited the villagers. He pointed out that a total of Rs 42 crore was disbursed through these schemes, including funds used for constructing the temple mandapam at the temple visited by Naidu.
