
Gudlavalleru: The controversy surrounding the engineering college incident in Gudlavalleru has been resolved following swift action by the police, under the orders of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. A thorough inspection of the hostel was conducted in the presence of students, college staff, and parents, utilizing advanced electronic detection devices. The inspection, which lasted over four hours, found no hidden cameras, alleviating the concerns of the students.
Satisfied with the transparent inspection process, the students have ceased their protests. The college management has announced a holiday until Monday, during which another inspection will be conducted.
Minister Kollu Ravindra directed the police to carry out a comprehensive investigation and submit a detailed report on the incident. He also instructed the college management not to take any punitive action against the students who participated in the protests. The minister assured students that any harassment against those who voiced concerns should be reported to him directly. With the government’s decisive actions, the students have agreed to remain in the hostel.
