Vijayawada: The Jana Sena party expressed satisfaction with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for prioritizing the ‘Skill Census,’ an initiative championed by party leader and minister K Pawan Kalyan. On Thursday, Naidu, upon taking office, approved the ‘Skill Census’ as his fifth official action.
During his election campaigns, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the importance of the Skill Census to identify and nurture young talent. He proposed a scheme to support 100 eager youth from each constituency, transforming them into entrepreneurs through financial aid.
In an exclusive interview with The Times of India on May 10, 2024, Pawan Kalyan stated, “The Skill Census is essential if India wants to emerge as a superpower. I have met many talented tribal youth. For instance, a young man from Paderu excels in martial arts but lacks financial support and recognition. A small push is all it takes to make our youth champions of tomorrow. I am committed to working in this direction.”
Jana Sena state secretary Ammisetty Vasu highlighted the significant potential of youth in shaping the country’s future. “Youth have the potential to change the fate of the country. Encouraging them in their favorite fields yields the best results. We are delighted that CM Naidu prioritized the ‘Skill Census,’” said Vasu.
