Sircilla: BRS MLA K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) has labeled the recent suicides of leaders in Sircilla district as “government murders.” Expressing grief over the tragic turn of events, KTR visited the families of Audicharla Sai and Ankarapu Mallesham, who took their own lives. Accompanied by Bharasa Karimnagar MP candidate B. Vinodkumar, KTR provided immediate financial assistance of Rs.50,000 to the bereaved families.
Demanding swift government action, KTR urged authorities to respond within 24 hours and fulfill pending dues owed to the deceased leaders. He criticized the Congress government, attributing the deaths of four weavers to unemployment within four months of its tenure. Vinodkumar further alleged that local leaders had derided the weavers, exacerbating their distress and ultimately leading to the tragic outcomes.
KTR’s statements underscore growing concerns over government negligence and the need for urgent intervention to address the underlying issues plaguing Sircilla district.
