Hindupur: Nandamuri Balakrishna, renowned actor and politician, has officially entered the electoral fray once again, submitting his nomination papers for the Hindupur constituency as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate. Accompanied by his wife Vasundhara, Balakrishna presented the nomination documents to the Returning Officer at the Hindupur MRO office, marking his bid for a hat-trick victory in the upcoming elections.
Having secured consecutive wins in the past two elections, Balakrishna aims to continue his developmental efforts in Hindupur. A substantial turnout of TDP, Janasena, and BJP supporters witnessed the nomination process, reflecting the widespread backing for Balakrishna’s candidacy.
Expressing his commitment to Hindupur’s progress, Balakrishna highlighted the strides made in infrastructure and public welfare during his tenure. Speaking to the media post-nomination, he emphasized the importance of following the legacy of his father, NTR, and reiterated his dedication to serving the constituents.
Despite facing challenges as an opposition figure, Balakrishna emphasized achievements such as resolving the town’s drinking water issues and prioritizing the construction of vital infrastructure like CC roads and culverts in rural areas. Additionally, he assured continued support for essential services like community meals, underscoring his unwavering focus on Hindupur’s development.
