Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh’s Education and IT Minister, Nara Lokesh, took center stage at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, aiming to revive the state’s brand, which has faced challenges over the past five years. Lokesh engaged with over 30 global entrepreneurs during the four-day event, where he highlighted the state’s investment potential and future opportunities.

Throughout the forum, Lokesh attended eight roundtable meetings and conducted face-to-face discussions with industrialists, providing detailed insights into the state government’s policies. He presented Andhra Pradesh’s investor-friendly environment, including significant incentives, policies fostering industries, and opportunities in cutting-edge sectors like artificial intelligence and clean energy.

The minister also emphasized reforms in the education sector, aligned with international technological trends, and highlighted potential investments in the healthcare and logistics sectors. Notably, Lokesh showcased the state’s traditional Mangalagiri handlooms, impressing world industrialists. Mangalagiri shawls were presented to celebrities as a token of appreciation for their contributions.

Alongside Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh unveiled Andhra Pradesh’s vision to renowned industrial figures like Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Lakshmi Mittal of the Mittal Group, effectively reviving the state’s brand and reinforcing its appeal for global investments.
