Rayachoti: Former minister and senior YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy has issued a strong warning to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) workers, asserting that Jagan Mohan Reddy will return as Chief Minister in the next elections. His remarks came during a YSRCP coordination meeting held in Kadapa and Rayachoti, where he accused the ruling alliance of harassing party workers.
Peddireddy alleged that the coalition government is targeting YSRCP leaders and activists through legal cases and social media campaigns. He claimed that YSRCP workers are facing pressure at the village level and warned that once Jagan regains power, there will be repercussions for TDP workers.
“Every attack on our activists will be avenged. There is nothing to fear. Jagan will become CM again, and we will stand by our party workers,” he declared.
The statement has sparked political controversy, with TDP leaders condemning the remarks as provocative and undemocratic. With elections approaching, political tensions in Andhra Pradesh are escalating, raising concerns over potential clashes between rival party workers.
