Amaravati: Posani Krishna Murali, a well-known film writer, director, and actor, has often made headlines for his controversial and offensive remarks. His speeches, particularly during the five-year rule of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), have drawn sharp criticism for their harsh and derogatory language.
Despite portraying morality in films, Posani has frequently been accused of using unparliamentary and offensive slurs against political leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. Critics argue that his statements were politically motivated to gain favor within YSRCP circles.
Many have condemned Posani’s press conferences, alleging that his language is so vulgar that families prefer to switch off their televisions when he speaks. His outbursts, often laden with personal insults, have earned him a reputation as one of the most controversial public figures in Andhra Pradesh politics.
With the change in political power, there is growing discussion about holding Posani accountable for his past remarks. Many now question whether his aggressive rhetoric was a genuine political stance or an attempt to secure positions within the previous administration.
