Amaravati: Popular actor Allu Arjun received relief in the Andhra Pradesh High Court regarding a case filed by the Nandyala police, alleging his violation of the election code of conduct. The High Court, addressing a petition filed by Allu Arjun and former MLA Shilpa Ravichandrakishor Reddy, has paused further action in the case until November 6, when a final order is expected.

The case stemmed from Arjun’s visit to the residence of YSRCP Assembly candidate Shilpa Ravichandrakishor Reddy during the general elections. His arrival involved a large convoy of vehicles and motorcycles, with supporters creating a public spectacle as they escorted him from the city outskirts. Despite no official permission for his visit, the police provided extensive security arrangements. This led to complaints to the Election Commission, after which the Nandyala Second Town Police registered a case against Arjun and Reddy for election code violations.

The court’s recent directive provides temporary relief for both Arjun and Reddy, with an appropriate ruling set to be issued on November 6.
