Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy launched a scathing attack on former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), calling him a “seasonal politician” who is out of touch with Telangana’s development. He accused KCR of daydreaming about returning to power despite being absent from public life for 14 months.

Criticizing KCR’s governance, Ponguleti pointed out his absence during major crises like the Madigadda reservoir collapse, floods, and heavy rains. He also questioned why KCR failed to attend key events, including the condolence resolution for former PM Manmohan Singh, caste census discussions, SC classification talks, the Bhu Bharati Bill debate, and the unveiling of the Mother of Telangana statue.

The Minister stated that Telangana’s people worked hard to place KCR in the opposition, yet he refuses to respect their mandate. He declared that if KCR attends the Assembly, he will be confronted with how his 10-year rule led Telangana towards regression and financial distress. Ponguleti emphasized that the people will never forgive KCR for the debts incurred under his administration.
