Kadapa: The annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Kodanda Ramalayam in Vontimitta, spanning from April 17 to April 26, were the focus of a recent high-level review meeting and inspection by officials from TTD and YSR Kadapa district.
Emphasizing the significance of the upcoming Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam event on April 22, Kadapa District Collector Vijayaramaraju, alongside TTD JEO Veerabrahmam, stressed the need for extensive arrangements to accommodate devotees.
During a subsequent review at Vontimitta, TTD JEO urged all TTD departments to collaborate closely with district authorities to swiftly finalize Brahmotsavams preparations.
Scheduled activities include Ankurarpanam on April 16, Dwajarohanam on April 17 coinciding with Sri Rama Navami, Hanumanta Vahanam on April 20, and Garudavahanam on April 21, culminating in the grand Sri Sitaram Kalyanam on April 22.
Other notable events include Rathotsavam on April 23, Chakrasnanam on April 25, and Pushpayagam on April 26.
YSR Kadapa District Collector Vijayaramaraju assured joint efforts with TTD to ensure a hassle-free experience for attendees, focusing on security, parking, food distribution, sanitation, and transportation.
District SP Siddharth Kaushal highlighted plans for stringent security measures, including the deployment of TTD vigilance staff and district police, installation of CCTV cameras, and establishment of control rooms to oversee safety throughout the event.
