Kuppam: Former Chief Minister and TDP leader, N Chandrababu Naidu, voiced serious concerns on Monday over the lack of safety for citizens’ property during the current YSRCP administration in the state. He criticized YSRCP leaders for allegedly exploiting online systems to engage in widespread irregularities, leading to a precarious situation for property owners.
Speaking at a large public gathering in his hometown constituency of Kuppam, Naidu urged TDP activists to aim for a majority exceeding one lakh votes in the upcoming Assembly elections. He lamented the absence of developmental progress in Kuppam over the past five years and pledged comprehensive growth initiatives for the region upon reclaiming power.
Naidu assured attendees of his commitment to transparent governance, promising welfare programs without constraints and a monthly pension of Rs 4,000 for each beneficiary once the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) assumes power. He emphasized his dedication to equitable development, pledging to eliminate corruption and ensure genuine progress.
Acknowledging the unwavering support of Kuppam’s residents, Naidu highlighted his constituency choice based on serving marginalized communities rather than considerations of caste or religion. He condemned the closure of essential services like Anna Canteens under the current regime and called for adherence to the model code of conduct by all political leaders.
Reflecting on his own experiences of harassment and false accusations, Naidu warned against abusing power for personal gain and vowed to uphold the integrity of democratic processes. He criticized Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s failure to fulfill promises such as the Handri-Neeva water project for Kuppam and accused the YSRCP of fostering violence and corruption.
