Rajamahendravaram: In a stirring call to action, BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari rallied the people to overthrow what she termed as ‘destructive rule’ plaguing the state. Highlighting the dire situation, she lamented the unprecedented step of mortgaging the state Secretariat. Urging for a transformative shift, Purandeswari appealed to all to strive for a brighter future where the BJP flag waves proudly in Anaparthi.

Purandeswari’s inaugural visit to the BJP office in Rajahmundry coincided with her announcement as the Rajahmundry MP candidate. Engaging with party leaders and workers, she received a warm welcome from BJP ranks. Accompanied by AP election co-in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh, she emphasized the party’s strategic decision to contest a select number of seats in alliance with other parties.

Describing the BJP-TDP-JSP alliance as imperative, Purandeswari underscored the urgent need for change. Citing instances of governmental neglect, she demanded transparency on state investments. Singh echoed her sentiments, asserting the potential of a ‘double-engine government’ to tackle various challenges, including the completion of critical projects like Polavaram. Both leaders urged support for BJP candidates, criticizing the incumbent government’s alleged corruption and inefficiency in addressing key issues.
