Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has hailed the successful outcome of the Davos agreements as the most significant achievement of his government. Speaking at a media conference at the Secretariat, the CM revealed that investments worth Rs. 1.80 lakh crores have been secured through the Davos conference. He expressed gratitude to the companies that chose Hyderabad for their investments and praised the trust they have placed in the government.
Revanth Reddy also took a moment to address the negative propaganda aimed at the government, stating that such efforts have been ineffective. He emphasized that the overwhelming support from international organizations and businesses reflects their confidence in the government’s leadership.
Minister Sridhara Babu also joined the discussion, highlighting Hyderabad’s reputation as a global business hub. He shared that last year’s Davos conference resulted in investments worth Rs. 10,000 crores, but this year’s agreements have surpassed expectations, with four times the number of deals made. A key highlight is the agreement with the Singapore government to establish a Skill Development University in Hyderabad, aimed at fostering technical skills among youth and providing new job opportunities.
