HYDERABAD: The Telangana state formation decade celebrations in Hyderabad on Sunday night witnessed a grand ceremony orchestrated by the state government. State Governor CP Radhakrishnan graced the event as the chief guest, accompanied by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, state ministers, and CS Shanti Kumari. The dignitaries explored various stalls set up along Tank Bund, showcasing 17 arts representing Telangana’s rich history and culture.
A highlight of the evening was the flag walk, featuring five thousand trainee policemen marching to the tune of the “Jaya Jayahe Telangana” state anthem, creating a striking visual and auditory spectacle. The event drew massive crowds as city dwellers flocked to Tank Bund to witness the celebrations.
Despite the festive atmosphere, the cultural activities faced disruptions due to unexpected rain. However, the spirit of celebration remained undeterred as the attendees continued to enjoy the night’s offerings.
