Vijayawada: Recent surveys, including the My Axis India Today Survey, indicate that the alliance between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Jana Sena, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to triumph in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. The survey projects that the TDP will secure between 78 and 96 seats, Jana Sena will win 16 to 18 seats, and the BJP will garner 4 to 6 seats. Meanwhile, the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is expected to win between 55 and 77 seats. The Congress party is predicted to secure a negligible 0 to 2 seats.
The survey also provided forecasts for the Lok Sabha elections. According to the results, the TDP is anticipated to win 13 to 15 seats, Jana Sena 2 seats, BJP 4 to 6 seats, and YSRCP 2 to 4 seats.
The ruling YSRCP, under Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, faces a potential reduction in its current dominance. The survey results reflect a competitive electoral environment, with the YSRCP’s projected seat count showing a notable decline compared to previous elections.
The Congress party, struggling to maintain a foothold in the state, continues to show minimal electoral impact, as reflected in the predicted seat count.
