Vijayawada: Former MP Vijayasai Reddy has declared that his role in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam is that of a whistleblower, not a participant. Posting on ‘X’, Vijayasai Reddy stated that thieves caught in the scam are trying to escape while those yet to be caught are dragging his name into controversy. He firmly asserted that he had not taken even a single rupee and pledged to fully cooperate in exposing all those involved.
Vijayasai Reddy had earlier revealed that KC Reddy Rajasekhar Reddy was the key figure behind the liquor scam that took place during the YSRCP regime. Referring to Rajasekhar Reddy as the “Karta, Karma, Kriya” of the liquor scandal, Vijayasai had hinted that more revelations would emerge in due course. Following this, SIT officials arrested KC Reddy Rajasekhar Reddy on Monday.
In the wake of these developments, Vijayasai Reddy’s latest post on ‘X’ appears to reinforce his stance as a whistleblower determined to assist the authorities in uncovering the full extent of the scam. His statements have sparked new political discussions as the investigation into the massive liquor scam deepens.
