Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, on Tuesday, denied being a part of politics and said, he will focus on making India a spiritual country.

Baba Ramdev reached Madurai on Tuesday, to attend a five day national meeting, Bharat Swabhiman, in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu.

Addressing the media at the Madurai Airport, Ramdev Baba said, “I have withdrawn myself politically. I am with all parties and I am with no party.” He also said, he is not focusing on politics and his only agenda is to see a spiritual Country and a spiritual world.

Sharing his views about who will be the next PM, Baba Ramdev said, “Now the political situation is very difficult. We cannot say who will be the next Prime Minister of country to lead it.” He further added, “The situation is unclear. There’s a political battle fight going on inside the country. Who will win the political field, we cannot say anything. But this battle will be terrific.”

Baba Ramdev, a supporter of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014, is now far away from politics and will devote himself to yoga and Vedic practices.

The two opposition parties, the Congress party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) will be seen contesting against each other in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which are scheduled to be held in 2019.

Recently, both the parties contested the Legislative Assembly elections in five states, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Rajasthan. In Mizoram and Telangana, regional parties Mizo Front National (MNF) and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) won the elections respectively, whereas the Congress party won in the other three states.
