An earthquake of medium intensity jolted the India- Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. It was measured to 5.2 on the Richter scale.
National Centre for Seismology of the India Meteorological Department said the earthquake stuck at 3:42 PM at a depth of 10 KM.
Jammu and Kashmir is prone to regular seismological activity owing to the drifting plates. There has been no reported loss of life or property.
