Siddipet: BRS MLA and former minister Harish Rao has lashed out at the Congress government, accusing them of devaluing the worth of farmers. He participated in a dharna held at Nanganur in Siddipet, demanding debt relief for farmers.
Rao criticized the Congress government’s claims, stating that their promises of development and welfare have proven hollow. He specifically targeted Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, accusing him of neglecting his duties and failing to address the concerns of farmers.
“Revanth lied to come to power,” Rao said. “Revan Reddy is asking me where I am sleeping. Am I sleeping in Revan Reddy’s heart? He is not Enumula Revan Reddy.. Egavetala Revan Reddy.”
He warned that if the government does not waive the loans of farmers before Dussehra, the BRS will besiege the secretariat.
The dharna was organized to highlight the plight of farmers who are struggling under the burden of debt. Rao’s strong criticism of the Congress government and his demand for debt relief reflect the growing discontent among farmers in the state.
