Maharashtra: A 24 year old cop Manoj Barahate from Maharashtra rescued a man at Nashik Kumbh Mela when he tried to commit suicide. Manoj jumped into the water immediately when he saw a youngster who wanted to commit suicide by jumped from a 20 feet high bridge.
This incident came into light when, Praveen Gedam, IAS officer and Commissioner, Nashik Municipal Corporation, tweeted wrote about Manoj’s bravery Twitter.
Not just this but Mr. Gedam tweeted many such experiences where the police went out of their comfort way to help ordinary people in their spiritual journey at Maha Kumbh Mela.
