
Amaravati: Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has once again demonstrated his commitment to helping those in distress. Responding promptly to a plea on social media platform X, he facilitated the safe return of Vasamshetty Padma, a woman from Andhra Pradesh trapped in Muscat, Oman.
Vasamshetty Padma, a resident of Polekurru Panchayat in Konaseema district, had traveled to Muscat for work. However, she faced severe hardships, including losing her passport and suffering health issues due to the mistreatment by her employer. Desperate for help, Padma turned to social media, appealing directly to Minister Lokesh for assistance.
Acknowledging the plea, Nara Lokesh swiftly intervened. His team worked diligently to coordinate Padma’s repatriation, ensuring she safely returned to her hometown and was reunited with her family. The victim’s family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the minister for his timely action and unwavering support.
