Dharmavaram: Minister Satyakumar Yadav has urged YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to apologize for allegedly using adulterated ghee in the preparation of Tirumala’s Srivari Laddu Prasadam. Speaking at a press conference in Dharmavaram, Yadav expressed concern over the impact on devotees worldwide.
Yadav criticized Jagan for appointing his relatives, Y.V. Subbareddy and Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, to key positions in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). He also mentioned that an official, Dharma Reddy, was made Executive Officer (EO) due to his favorable relations with Jagan.
According to Yadav, the use of adulterated ghee in the sacred Laddu Prasadam has caused distress among devotees of Lord Venkateswara. He accused Jagan of spreading false information about the issue, further increasing the worries of devotees globally.
Yadav also questioned Jagan’s religious practices, stating that despite claiming to respect all religions, Jagan avoided signing the religious declaration during his visit to Tirumala.
