Mangalagiri: Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Anitha has strongly criticized YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of misleading the public with lies. Speaking at a media conference held at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri, she questioned Jagan’s decision to cancel his Tirumala trip at the last minute, accusing him of making excuses and avoiding the religious declaration.
Anitha dismissed Jagan’s claims of receiving notices preventing his visit, asserting that no leaders were placed under house arrest. “Jagan did not want to go to Tirumala, and he canceled the trip with no intention of making a declaration,” she remarked. She further criticized him for discussing the taste of the sacred Tirumala Laddu, implying that he has little respect for the prasadam.
The minister also raised concerns over Jagan’s avoidance of the religious declaration and accused him of attempting to stir up religious and caste-based tensions. She clarified that no one was restricted during Jagan’s visit on Friday, stating that if necessary, Section 30 Act would be issued against him.
