Amaravati: Minister Gottipati Ravikumar has called for the immediate deportation of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of insulting the country’s traditions. Speaking at a press conference, Ravikumar urged Jagan to retract his recent comments questioning the values of the nation, stressing the importance of respecting religious customs to be a good citizen.
Ravikumar expressed his disappointment, stating that it is painful to see religious beliefs and traditions being undermined for political gain. He emphasized the need for Jagan to make the necessary religious declaration and criticized him for causing religious disharmony. The minister further alleged that Jagan, despite reaching the highest positions due to democratic opportunities, has exploited the country’s resources for personal gain.
Ravikumar questioned why Jagan should remain in India if he continues to disrespect the country’s traditions and values.
