New Delhi: The Intelligence agencies have released an alert regarding the possible attacks by Lashkar-e-Tayyiba(LeT) at various locations in the country during the New Year.
According to the media reports, Intelligence agencies have warned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Parliament building, Army headquarters at South Block and nuclear facilities are in pro danger of terror attacks.
The report also included that around 20 terrorist may have entered the country from across the border to carry out suicide strikes at the biggest targets possible.
On Monday, the Centre had asked all states to be extra vigilant to thwart any attempt by terrorists and subversive elements to disrupt peace, particularly in popular tourist destinations, during the New Year festivities.
The police forces of major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Goa have been asked to be extra vigilant during the upcoming New Year celebrations.
