Gachibowli: Prabhakar Reddy, the 40-year-old owner of Varalakshmi Tiffin Center, has been arrested by Gachibowli police following allegations of cheating and sexual harassment. According to Madapur ACP CH Srikanth, Reddy, who operates several tiffin centers across the city, met a 30-year-old woman from Andhra Pradesh and led her to believe they would marry. He allegedly sexually harassed her during their time together.
After the woman filed a complaint, police conducted a thorough investigation. The case was registered under various sections, including those related to the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Reddy was subsequently arrested and sent to remand.
This is not Reddy’s first encounter with the law; he had previously been arrested in connection with a drug supply case. The arrest has brought attention to the serious nature of the charges against him, highlighting the ongoing issue of such crimes.
