With the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-poll (polling on 11 November) looming large, A. Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana and prominent leader of the Indian National Congress in the state, has stepped into the campaign spotlight, signalling the high priority attached to this contest.
According to party sources, Revanth Reddy will open his campaign effort with an expected public meeting at Police Grounds on 28 October, followed by targeted roadshows on 30–31 October and again on 4–5 November covering all six divisions of the constituency.

The Congress has mobilised its ministers, MPs, MLAs, and senior leaders to launch a full-scale offensive aimed at wresting the seat from the rival Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
For the party, however, Jubilee Hills is far more than just another seat. In fact, it serves as a crucial litmus test to determine whether the Congress government can successfully build on its 2023 assembly victory and transform that win into long-term political momentum.
The party’s campaign strategy follows a micro-level approach—leaders are mapping every division in the constituency and assigning ministers to strengthen door-to-door contact and booth-level outreach.
On the ground, Revanth’s message will emphasise the state government’s developmental agenda, with particular reference to infrastructure and welfare works completed or underway.
The campaign team believes that the CM’s personal presence will act as a “trump card” in mobilising voters in a constituency that includes a mix of affluent areas, film-industry households and large slum clusters.
The opposition, meanwhile, remains on alert. With BRS and other parties keen to hold the seat, the campaign promises to be intense, high-visibility and closely watched. For Revanth and his party, a win here would reinforce their mandate; a loss could raise questions about momentum.
