Tadepalli: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) state general secretary S.V. Satish Kumar Reddy has accused former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of misleading the public regarding the ongoing Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into the Skill Scam case. Speaking at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, Satish Reddy challenged Naidu’s claim that he had been cleared by the ED, stating that no such exoneration had been issued.
Reddy highlighted that the ED recently seized assets worth Rs 23.54 crore linked to the scam, indicating that the probe was still active. He questioned how Naidu could declare himself innocent when investigations were far from over.
Reddy also accused Naidu of personally approving the release of Rs 371 crore for the Siemens project, pointing out that the funds were misused through fake invoices and shell companies. He named key figures involved, including executives from DesignTech Systems and Siemens Industry Software India, as identified by the ED.
Reddy emphasized that only the courts could clear Naidu and labeled any claims of a “clean chit” as premature and misleading. He expressed confidence that the ED’s investigation would reveal Naidu’s involvement in the alleged misuse of public funds.
