
Hyderabad: After an impactful meeting with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Film Association Chairman (FAC) Dil Raju addressed the media, shedding light on key discussions aimed at elevating the Telugu film industry to new heights.
Dil Raju emphasized that the primary agenda of the meeting was the development of Telugu cinema. “The Chief Minister shared his vision for the Telugu film industry and stressed the need for collaboration between the government and the industry to promote Telugu cinema globally,” he said.
Dismissing rumors of a rift between the government and the film industry, Dil Raju clarified that the perceived gap is a myth. He also expressed gratitude for CM Revanth Reddy’s proactive approach in addressing industry concerns and added that another meeting will be held soon to solidify plans.
The discussions also covered Hyderabad’s potential as an international hub for film production. “The focus is not just on Indian cinema but also on creating facilities to attract Hollywood productions to Hyderabad. We will work closely with the government to transform Hyderabad into a global film hub,” Raju added.
He reiterated that the agenda is not limited to ticket rates or benefit shows but to position the Telugu film industry on the global map.
