Amaravati: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired a state-level workshop at the party’s central office in Tadepalli on Thursday. The event, attended by district presidents, heads of affiliated wings, and representatives from across Andhra Pradesh, focused on building a stronger, more organized party structure.

In his address, YS Jagan emphasized the need for a systematic framework, urging party leaders to establish committees from the state level down to the village level, with a special focus on empowering women. He set a six-month deadline to form village-level committees involving youth, women, students, and booth-level units, stressing active supervision by leaders at all levels.

YS Jagan also raised concerns about the current government’s performance, highlighting Rs 2,400 crore in unpaid Aarogyasri health scheme bills and delays in welfare programs like Vidya Deevena and Vasathi Deevena. He pointed out the stalled plans for English medium education and CBSE syllabus updates, as well as inefficiencies in agricultural support, such as Rythu Bharosa and crop insurance. He criticized the liquor policy for fostering corruption and lawlessness.

The YSRCP President urged leaders to use social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram to counter biased media narratives and misinformation.
