Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl raped by two boys at Saroornagar. The victim is battling for her life in a government hospital near Charminar. Though, the incident occurred on Friday, it witnessed the light on Wednesday.
It is heard that the boys from the girl’s neighbourhood lured the girl with chocolates and assaulted her. With fear, the girl didn’t inform her parents but when she was taken to a hospital with heavy bleeding, the doctors found out the truth. Then, the police booked a case against the boys and arrested them.
The girl is a student of class 1 and the boys, one 15-year-old and another 13-year-old, took advantage when her parents had gone out for work. When the boys offered chocolates, the girl went with the boys as she knew them. They raped her and then dropped her at home, according to the relative of the victim. Later, the mother of the girl noticed her bleeding and took her to a hospital. When the doctors and parents learned it, the girl explained the incident. It is learnt that the girl had lost a lot of blood and her condition is not stable.
The police booked a case under the IPC for rape and under the sections of the Protection of Children from offenses Act. The culprits will be produced in juvenile court soon, said the police.
