8-year-old boy took charge as Commissioner of Hyderabad for a day

Hyderabad: An 8-year-old boy took charge as a Commissioner of Hyderabad for a day. Madipalli Roop Aurouna, who is suffering from Thalassemina and requires blood transfusion for every 20-25 days. On Tuesday the aspiring child got the charge of the Hyderabad Police Commissioner for a day.

After taking the charge, Roop signed leave letters for officials of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate of Basheerbagh.

Roop’s parents, Ranjitha and Vikram expressed their child’s wish to Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organisation that fulfills the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions.
Roop said he wants to control law and order to check crimes like chain snatching. The child needs to take proper medicines, diet and go for regular checkups to see that his blood iron level doesn’t go high as it may affect his other vital organs.
