TDP To Bring No Confidence Motion Against NDA

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will attend the three day World Cities Summit (WCS) in Singapore. The CM will participate in a number of bilateral meetings during his visit from the 8th to 10th July.

Naidu will discuss the development of Amaravati as a world class capital as well. The AP Government set up a special pavilion to showcase Amaravati at the Summit. On the first day of the Summit Naidu will address a meeting on the theme ‘Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Embracing the future through Innovation and Collaboration.’

Accompanied by the Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Naidu will participate in the opening plenary session on the second day. Later Naidu will take part in a panel discussion with World Bank CEO Kristalina Georgieva, UAE Environment Minister Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Jacobs Chairman and CEO Steven Demetriou, Dassault Systemes Vice Chairman Bernard Charles.

The group will have a discussion based on the topic ‘Urbanisation – Water, Environment and Transport Management.’ The AP CM will deliver a keynote address at the Lee Kuan Yew Institute. At the Institute Naidu will discuss the ‘Potential investment opportunities and dynamic economic development for the state of Andhra Pradesh.’

The main aim for Naidu is to meet representatives from companies and attract them to invest in his State. The Summit aimed at developing smart cities will host Mayors from over 120 cities across the world.
