Kuppam: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu emphasized his policy of “simple government and effective governance” while directing officials to develop a comprehensive action plan for the overall development of Kuppam Assembly segment. On the concluding day of his tour of his home constituency, Naidu held a review meeting with district and constituency officials at the local guest house.

Naidu instructed officials to prepare for both virtual and physical working systems. Addressing issues of rowdyism, violence, and ganja abuse in the Kuppam Assembly segment, he ordered an immediate crackdown on such illegal activities. He also directed police officials to lift politically motivated cases against innocent individuals.

The Chief Minister outlined a roadmap for poverty elimination, beginning in Kuppam. He emphasized that Kuppam would be transformed into a poverty-free village, mandal, and segment. Highlighting the differences between his administration and the previous government, Naidu stressed that there would be no forcible public mobilizations, heavy convoys, or sirens.

Naidu instructed cabinet ministers to avoid meetings after 6 pm and urged officers to act swiftly and effectively. He called for strict enforcement of laws against those indulging in rowdyism. Reflecting on past challenges, Naidu noted that he could not visit his constituency due to political pressures and false cases.

Addressing the severe drinking water problem in Kuppam, Naidu urged officials to expedite the Handri-Neeva canal works. He emphasized prioritizing dairy, silk, and honey products and announced plans to attract food processing units and transform Kuppam into an education hub. Naidu also highlighted a special program to enhance youth skills and employment, and directed officials to extend subsidies to farmers to ensure a total transformation of Kuppam in the coming months.
