Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of preserving the sanctity and traditions of the Tirumala temple, the world’s largest Hindu shrine, in a press statement on Friday. He expressed pride in Andhra Pradesh being home to such a revered place of worship and urged all pilgrims to adhere strictly to temple customs.

Highlighting the sacred nature of Lord Venkateswara’s abode, Naidu stated that his government prioritizes safeguarding the temple’s sanctity and protecting the sentiments of devotees. “Every pilgrim visiting Tirumala for darshan should ensure they follow the prescribed customs and traditions while offering prayers,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister appealed to devotees to respect the Agama Sastra and the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) guidelines, ensuring that no actions violate temple rituals. “It is the responsibility of every pilgrim to uphold the sanctity of this world-famous temple and honor its traditions,” Naidu added in his plea to the public.
