Hyderabad: A store in Hyderabad is setting an example for the nation by not just ending its charity at home. The ‘Goodwill Store’ is a halt for the poor and homeless where they can walk in free and pick up anything they want without paying money. The Goodwill Store is set up by an NGO named LSN foundation. The store was started in October 2015 in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad.
People from poor households, slum dwellers, migrants, the homeless, etc. can pick and choose what they want. The goods available here are usually donated by people from different parts of the city.
However, what sets this store apart is the sense of dignity and confidence with which the needy can walk in and pick up things of their choice here.
