
Amaravati: In a show of solidarity, government employees and various organizations are stepping up to provide relief to the flood victims in Andhra Pradesh. Employees from multiple departments have already announced significant donations to support recovery efforts.
Recently, the AP Electrical Engineers Association and Electricity Employees’ Association jointly donated Rs. 10,61,18,694 for flood relief. Leaders from the associations, along with representatives from the International Confederation of Associations for Sustainable Advancement (ICASA), handed over the check to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The CM commended the electricity workers for their generous contribution.
In addition to these efforts, private companies have also come forward. Diction Group and Nekkanti Sea Foods Company announced donations, contributing substantial amounts towards relief. The representatives of these companies presented their checks in the presence of Minister Nara Lokesh.
Actor Saidaramej also contributed to the cause, presenting a personal donation of Rs. 10 lakh to Lokesh. These collective contributions are expected to provide much-needed assistance to those affected by the floods, as the state continues its relief and recovery operations.
