Pawan Kalyan Talks About 2019 Elections And KCR

On Monday, actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan started his political tour at the Hanuman Temple in Kondagattu in Jagtial District, Telangana. This is Kalyan’s first political yatra which will last for three days. The yatra is to promote the Jana Sena Party for the Assembly Elections in 2019.

Pawan is taking his political career seriously and acting is the last thing on his mind. At the end of the first day, Kalyan said, “Movies are out of my mind. Right now, the focus is on politics.”

During the same press meet, Kalyan said Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao was a hardworking and smart CM. He continued to appreciate KCR and said the CM played a vital role to unify the people during the Telangana struggle.

Kalyan clarified why he was appreciating KCR after the war of words between the two. He said, “There is a need to respect the mandate of the people. They have been elected by the people. I am not here to fight with them for political power. I won’t indulge in confrontational politics. I look for solutions and how problems can be solved through cooperation. Although there are a lot of issues in Andhra, the reason I am going soft is because there should be a solution for the problem but we shouldn’t fight and leave it midway and cheat the people.”

Pawan Kalyan’s party Jana Sena will contest in the South Indian states for the 2019 General Elections. Kalyan also said he had no intentions of merging with any other political party. Earlier, BJP President Amit Shah offered Kalyan a spot in the ruling party but the actor humbly declined the offer.
