Roundtable on smart cities and sustainability

Hyderabad: A major roundtable conference is planned on smart cities and sustainability. The event will take place at a plush hotel in the city on Monday evening. Major aspects of the smart cities and their developments are expected to discuss in the event. The meeting was planned to cultivate cities in the country, to be smart, sustainable and more resilient.

James Brainard, Mayor of City of Carmel, Indiana state US, is the key speaker at the event. He is expected to deliver crucial points about the smart cities and the sustainability. Ms Karuna Gopal, who is the president, Foundation of Furistic cities, will also participate in the discussion. The interactive session will also see the attendance of delegates in an aim to develop smart cities across the country.

Recently, a roundtable conference was organised in the city to generate big ideas in the planning of the smart cities. City Stakeholders attended the meet and shared their vision for a ‘Smart Hyderabad’.
