School fight results in death of a student in Hyderabad: A lunch hour clash between two students in a Hyderabad based Private school resulted in death of class 10 student.
Going into the details, Amir Siddiqui, a student of St. Joseph’s Public School died in a private hospital on Wednesday.
The victim’s classmates tell us that the incident occurred in the school premises during lunch hour on Tuesday but surprisingly the incident came in to light only after Siddiqui’s death at the hospital.
Police registered a case on the complaint of Siddiqui’s parents. Deputy Commissioner of Police Kamalasan Reddy said Siddiqui and another student Shariyal had a fight at the school ground. Shariyal hit Siddiqui right on the head during the altercation.
First aid was performed on Siddiqui at the school but to no avail. Siddiqui was later shifted to Kamineni Hospital, where doctors on Tuesday night performed a surgery to remove clot in his brain. However, the boy did not recover and died on Wednesday morning.
The heart broken parents of Amir Siddiqui are demanding for the prosecution of the culprit. Meanwhile The DCP said they were analyzing the footage from CCTV cameras installed in the school before taking further action.
