On Friday, security agencies were sent to conduct search operations at the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters at Sirsa town in Haryana. The area has been put under heavy security and a curfew has been announced in the area.
A SWAT team with 40 jawans, a dog squad and bomb squad will be searching the insides of the headquarters while a chopper keeps a close eye from above.
A team of paramilitary forces and administration being led by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hisar Range Amitabh Singh Dhillon, has 6 IPS officers and 12 DSP and paramilitary jawans.
Haryana’s Director General of Police, B.S. Sandhu said, “We have formed a strategy and are hopeful that the sanitization process will be conducted in a smooth manner. The Dera management too has expressed willingness to cooperate with the local administration and police during the investigation. The sanitization process will be out of bounds for the media.”
The entire sanitization process will be recorded on video and records with due inventories will be created and maintained.
