Hyderabad: A seven-year-old girl died after she was attacked by stray dogs at old Kapra ward, on Thursday.
Soni had fallen and suffered a head injury while trying to escape from the dangerous dogs. The child passed away at Osmania General Hospital on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses said that the stray dogs were charging at each other and the girl threw stones to shoo them away, but dogs pounced on her. She suffered head injures as she fell.
Soni was the only child of Anuradha and Sanga Reddy, a daily wage worker. They are residents of Yadava Basthi, Kapra, under Kushaiguda police station limits. The incident took place on February 9 at the front yard of their house.
