Hyderabad: The new state, Telangana tops the list of non-vegetarian in India. Its proved that the Telugu’s love non-vegetarian food when compared to other states.
According to the survey conducted by Registrar General of India, the new infant state tops the list of 21 big states in the country with 98.8 % of men non-vegetarians and 98.6 percent of female non-vegetarians.
Telangana is followed by West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Kerala in terms of highest non-vegetarian population. On the other hand, the states with highest vegetarian population include Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana.
Andhra Pradesh is not far behind with 98.4 per cent men and 98.1 per cent women being non-vegetarians. West Bengal came second in the country in non-vegetarianism, not far behind Telangana, with 98.7 per cent men and 98.4 per cent women.
